WHY DOES ALMIGHTY GOD ALLOW SUFFERING?

SUMMARY

Many deny The LORDS existence because they can’t believe a loving, caring GOD would allow so much pain and suffering. The problem with this is man assumes to “know” who the ETERNAL true LIVING GOD is. We tend to compare the SELF EXISTENT ONE to ourselves. Wrap your mind around this, everything was created by HIM however no one created HIM. GOD ALMIGHTY has ALWAYS EXISTED! In our finite existence everything has a beginning and an ending. HE is called the ALPHA and the OMEGA. “I am the Alpha and the Omega,” says the Lord God, “who is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty.”” HE is eternal past. Try to imagine someone NEVER having a beginning! HE is eternal present. HE is eternal future! NO beginning, NO end. The LORD is also omniscient or has all knowledge. There’s nothing HE doesn’t know or needs to learn. HE is omnipotent, meaning HIS POWER is limitless and infinite. HE is omnipresent, meaning there’s no existence anywhere that can exist without or apart from HIM! The very concept of ONE GOD in THREE PERSONS’ is infinitely beyond the scope of human comprehension.

Do we even understand the true meaning of suffering? There’s an old Hebrew proverb that says, “Pray the LORD doesn’t allow (in your life) all that you can truly bear.” What that says to me is when I think I’m at the breaking point, HE that made me knows I could bear even more! Mark 14:34-36, “And he said to them, “My soul is very sorrowful, even to death. Remain here and watch.” And going a little farther, he fell on the ground and prayed that, if it were possible, the hour might pass from him. And he said, “Abba, Father, all things are possible for you. Remove this cup from me. Yet not what I will, but what you will.” Many believe Christs’ distress was over the physical pain and agony of the crucifixion to come. Yet, in light of Hebrews 12 verses 2, “looking to Jesus, the founder and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is seated at the right hand of the throne of God.” Becoming a curse and paying the sin debt wasn’t causing HIM the most suffering.

For the ONE and ONLY instance in eternity there would be separation between FATHER, SON and HOLY SPIRIT!! Jesus was dreading what HE knew HE would say, “And about the ninth hour Jesus cried out with a loud voice, saying, “Eli, Eli, lema sabachthani?” that is, “My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?”, Matthew 27:46. By becoming the curse for our sin GOD the FATHER had to break for a time the eternal fellowship with HIS SON!! Man has no way to truly comprehend the spiritual sacrifice the ALMIGHTY made for our redemption “…before the foundation of the world”. Let’s remember Hebrews 12:3, “Consider him who endured from sinners such hostility against himself, so that you may not grow weary or fainthearted.”

THE BEST WORD OF ENCOURAGEMENT!

HE who suffered INFINITELY MORE than any man or woman ever will says, ““Behold, the dwelling place of God is with man. He will dwell with them, and they will be his people, and God himself will be with them as their God. He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain anymore, for the former things have passed away.”

“It is done! I am the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end. To the thirsty I will give from the spring of the water of life without payment. The one who conquers will have this heritage, and I will be his God and he will be my son (and daughter), Rev. 21:3-4,6-7. However, this LIFE to come is ONLY for those whose names are WRITTEN IN THE LAMBS BOOK OF LIFE! Is YOUR NAME written in HIS BOOK BOOK OF LIFE?
